Action Plan For Healthy Skin

  1. Increase water intake to eight glasses a day.
  2. Don’t smoke.
  3. Protect skin from sunlight with sunscreen and a hat.
  4. Look after your liver by cutting down on alcohol and over-the-counter drugs.
  5. Eat a diet high in antioxidants, which includes colourful fruit and vegetables.
  6. Eat foods rich in essential fatty acids found in oily fish, pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
  7. Increase zinc intake with turkey, eggs, almonds and peas.
  8. Reduce your saturated fat intake.

Supplements for skin

  1.     Multivitamin and mineral supplement.
  2.     Omega-3 fish oil and flaxseed supplements.
  3.     Oil of evening primrose supplement.
  4.     Zinc supplement.
